Connection is everything to me

I've seen burnout up close. I've seen conflict fester, trust erode, people stop believing in themselves or each other. In 20+ years of corporate life, I lived it myself – including a Friday night, alone at my desk near 1am, crying and in despair about my job.

What I learned from that: disconnection is what breaks down people and teams. Connection is what rebuilds them. When people feel genuinely connected – to themselves, to each other, to their purpose – they empower themselves. And empowered teams and leaders don't just feel better, they perform better. That's the real premise behind my work: connection isn't a nice-to-have, it's what accelerated performance is actually built on.

Connection is a core value of mine – it's why I do this work at all. I believe real relationship is where the magic happens: when people truly meet each other, as themselves, trust deepens, and remarkable things become possible.

My clients are mostly in creative industries – tech, media, design, entertainment – because that's where I come from too. I started as a designer, became a video producer, then spent 20+ years in client-services roles across agencies on brands like Ballantine's, Renault, Sky, and Visa. I know the pressure and the pace, and I genuinely like the people.

I bring deep systems expertise: as faculty for CRR Global, I don't just coach teams using ORSC – I train other coaches in it. And emergence is an incredibly powerful ally to my work – meeting the team, the client, where they are, and exploring right then what's wanting to happen.
